Smoked Salmon Rarebit

  • Hot Smoked Salmon – 100g
  • Smoked Cheddar – 50g
  • Lemon Zest – 2 Lemons
  • Creme Fraiche – 50g
  • Cayenne Pepper – Pinch
  • Fresh Dill – 20g
  • Sourdough Bread – 2 Slice
  • Olive Oil

One of my favourite dishes; quick, simple and delicious. Smoked Salmon Rarebit is one of those dishes that you can enjoy all year round. Follow the recipe below for this timeless classic.


Ready in 30 minutes. 

Serves 2. 


  1. Flake Hot Smoked Salmon into a bowl, zest the 2 lemons into the salmon then add the cheddar, crème fraiche and paprika and chopped fresh dill into the mix.

  2. Take the sourdough bread slices and char grill on 1 side with a drizzle of olive oil, then place the combined salmon mix on top of the char grilled bread and place under a grill for 2-3 minutes.
